The free games each month certainly add to the value proposition for now.

I'm still kind of out of the loop about the new changes in having the new Game's Pass and Ultimate Pass, so I'm not really sure about the value of the cost these days. Up until recently though, it was a small price to pay to play with my buddies and get free games every month. I'd say nearly 15% of the games I own came from the free Games With Gold part of Xbox Live Gold membership. Here's to hoping Xbox and Microsoft don't let us down any time soon.
