Well, you need it for online activity for the xbox one. This came with a bag for free that I'll never use and a coupon for nfl related items that I will also never use, but hey, free stuff is free stuff I suppose.

Best thing about live is being able to buy it dirt cheap when there are sales going about. It has always been a stable provider except for certain EA games that are released....

This is a must buy if you have a xbox 360. Allows you to play games online and access features like Netflix thru you xbox so you can stream movies to watch on your tv.

Great to access xbox live and not give them your credit card info. Also came with a cool little bag that you can take to the into the stadiums.

To me it is by far the best way to buy live.. when you get a yr for $60. The lil backpack is a bonus, but not really worth more than a quarter.

Nothing super spectacular about it other than the fact that you get a free NFL string bag along with a whole year of Xbox live

If you only own an Xbox console, it's a no brainer to get this in order to fully enjoy what the consoles have to offer. However, those who also own one of Sony's consoles should skip Live and get PSN. It's cheaper, has a ton of sales every week on games that are never on sale in Live, and even better, there are free games every week for different consoles (Vita, PSP, PS3 and PS4). To be fair, MS also offers 2 free Xbox games every month, but they tend to be much older than the ones offered by Sony.
