well, its a membership. is the any more to really say???

I understand that technology costs money, but paying to play online after spending so much money on game systems and the games themselves is adding insult to injury.

Paying for online is kinda dumb, and the fact that the free games lineup is always significantly weaker than PS+, it really isn't worth buying it.

Bought at Best Buy at same time as I bought the XBox One system and got a deal for $40 for 1 year of XBox Live GOLD (which I hear is a pretty good price). Disappointed that you have to by membership to play online (it was free with my PS3), but if I can get it for $40/year, that won't be too bad. I also used the 1 month free XBOX LIVE membership that came with the system to get the first month free before using my card.

Not pleased that I have to continually purchase a membership, expensive and don't look forward to buying once a year

The membership should be free, play station doesn't require a membership.

i bought it and spent way too long trying to get it to work to find out it wouldn't i called microsoft they hooked me up with a free month until they fixed it but it didn't get fixed and I'm down sixty bucks

xbox has gone down in terms of stability and customer service. the live is useless since I cannot appreciate how xbox has taken its turn with the xbox one.

You buy a five hundred dollar system and they want you to pay another large sum of cash just to use the thing

If you own an Xbox and plan to game online, this is a must. Also goes on sale occasionally (Black Friday, etc) but not a terrible deal for a year's worth of online that also includes monthly free games to download (mine has paid for itself already).

Good ole Xbox live. I like to by these cards here at Best Buy rather then anywhere else that way I get more My Best Buy points and Microsoft usually drops the price to $40 early on in the year.

You will want these if you plan on buying anything on the xbox. This card will buy you so many games and if you are a unlocked member...you get bonus points :)

You might as well buy this BEFORE you get an xbox! Without this your xbox goes from 10/10 to 6 or 7/10 on the fun scale. Xbox live is life!

I had a live membership and let it expire. It's totally worth having, which is why I bought another year's membership!

I love the XBOX live as compared to PS Live. Reason been you can still keep the games downloaded with GOLD.

Good deal to have it for a year and its great to be online-live doing your Xbox 360 games!
