I bought this to add to my subscription, safer than having a credit card attached to your account, I am also able to get it on sale to save some money.

I have been member of x box live for over 3 years now. And in these 3 years I did not have even a single issue with online gameplay. And since Microsoft has announced free game for both x box one and x box 360 it value has tripled. I love x box live and I have no doubt I will be a member as long as it has life.

I would always recommend getting the cards instead of using a credit card. Most of the time you can find the cards on sale for less than the full price Microsoft will change on Xbox Live.

Bought this on sale for $40. Fun to play with friends online, etc.

I've had this for about three months and it hasn't had any problems yet. It works great the only thing I ever need to worry about is the Internet connection.

What can be said, this gives you access to Netflix, Online multiplayer and other functionality of your new Xbox 360 or Xbox One. Just purchased this with my new Xbox One and Best Buy offered $20 off the normal price of the 12 month Xbox Live Gold. Well worth it at that reduced price point.

I bought this card for $39.99 so i have to say it was a great deal. Your xbox is not complete until you have the xbox live gold and 12 months is the most you can buy so this one is the best.

My son gets the 360E w/ kinect holiday bundle for Christmas that comes with Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures & Forza Horizon. Only makes sense to add the Live Gold membership.

I have both the PS4 & X1. The Xbox undoubtedly offers the best online experience and this is needed in order to enjoy that experience. It's a must buy, the free games are a plus too. Just look out for sales and also look for the 12 month +1 which is usually available and it's the same price for a free month.
