For those that want to keep their xbox live subscriptions going but w/o paying the $70 bucks a year or whatever the autorenewal is these days--keep an eye out for these little guys on sale.

XBL is a great program. There is so much content on XBL that you will have no problem keeping yourself entertained for hours!

Great service - no hiccups or issues connecting. Servers always up, youtube, free monthly games. Worth it.

If you do any online gaming, you have to get the full 12 months. Games with Gold is a nice extra as well.

It's cheaper going this route but I didn't give it 5 stars due to your already paying hundreds of dollars for a console you shouldn't have to pay hundreds a year to play online something a little cheaper would be better

Purchased at $45. Great Christmas gift. My 14yr old son loves the Live access. Uses it everyday.

Been a Live subscriber for almost 10 years. The reasons to be a member just keep growing!

Xbox live is great but you shouldn't have to pay to access stuff like Netflix, Youtube, and Hulu and everything else when you are already paying a subscription fee for some of them. Without an Xbox Live Gold subscription all you really can do is play games on single player. You Xbox live really needs to drop the price to $50 like Playstation plus.

free games are very weak, required for online play, netflix etc.

I purchased an xbox live card as a gift, I found out that it was purchased by another gift giver so I brought it back to best buy to get something else. I was told by the customer service rep at best buy that they couldn't give a refund because "the money goes straight to Microsoft so you have to call them for the refund". I called Microsoft which told me that if I bought it through their website they could refund me with no problem, but since it was purchased through best buy, they would have to do it. I called best buy's 800 number to get a rep saying that it's the policy... however, nowhere on the receipt does it state that, but he said it's on the website... I didn't buy it from the website, I bought it in the store. I am extremely dis-satisfied with best buy and have had purchased #on "my best buy" rewards# nearly $1500 from them in the last 2 years... looks like I'll be not buying anymore from best buy.

Yep...it's too expensive...don't know how else to say it.
