Great gift idea for teens and young adults!! I get this gift card every year for my boys. I like to get it from best buy as they sometimes run specials on it at a reduced rate from the original 60 bucks. It helps especially when needing to buy more than one live account per family.

Got it on sale so for 30 bucks you cant complain. Expected to use 50 characters to describe an item that is pretty self explanatory!

My family loves Xbox live so much that each family member wants their own account. Increases gaming enjoyment for all, and to find the 12 month at $10 off...I bought two for gifts!

The 12 month Xbox Live membership is the best deal out of all the Live options. It's a cheaper rate per month and I only have to fuss with it once a year. Always a great purchase.

At the time we bought this system bundle, we purchased the GOLD subscription as well based on the over package and discount. Very easy set-up and install. Still feels a little strange that this portion is required for my son to get the most out of the game system... but that part is more Microsoft than Best Buy. I've indicated I would recommend it to a friend... but its too early to tell if it is truly worth it.

My son doesn't have a lot of people near by with xbox one so this is great because he plays online quite often. It's worth it

XBOX live is the best value for online gaming. Pay $60 a year for multiplayer on as many games as you own. Compare that to some of the PC games, its more than half the cost.

For the price of $39.99 is OK to get based on the benefits that you received. However, anything over that is not worth getting.

Xbox live was on our list, but I was hesitant at the price. They put it on sale and swayed my decision! Way to go Microsoft! :)

I like to buy prepaid cards here at Best Buy that way I get points and I got even more on this purchase because I'm in their Gamers Club. On top of all that if you can wait till February they usually run Xbox Live 12 Gold on sale for $40 which makes it more reasonable.

Microsofts Xbox live is mandatory for any hardcore gamer. The 12 month prepaid card is an easy way to stay connected! Excellent value and can be had occasionally on sale.

I saw this item on sale and had to grab it at this price. My family likes to play against others online and this memebership allows that and it was at a great price.

My kids have opened up a whole new experience with Microsoft. They are able to do so much more which the live membership. They are able to chat live withe there friends that they are playing with. They love staying in touch with friends and family thru Xbox.

I like have this when they drop the price. Most of the games they give I have or don't want.

Even though it's more convenient to purchase the live subscription directly through Xbox, I prefer buying at best buy, using my credit card and getting reward points for the purchase. Plus I don't have to enter a credit card number online.
