Worth the money to get the extras that this gives you access to.

I had Xbox Live when I first got my Xbox 360 about 8 years ago, but then I never renewed it. I got a new membership along with my new Xbox One and I remember now why it's worth it, especially today when publishers are designing games specifically tailored to online and multiplayer play. The first game I had was Dead Rising 3 and it was fun to have a random player join in beside me in the middle of running around a zombie invasion.

Microsoft sends a reminder when the membership is about to expire. I purchased my renewal through Best Buy and saved $20.00. No problems renewing my membership for another year.

Playing online with and against other players is great fun.

XBox one is way better than PS4. Always buy this card at best buy and get the points. It costs the same as online. Worth it since you get free games through Games with Gold

My son's Xbox Live membership expired just after Christmas. I almost purchased a new one on Christmas day when they were discounted but just didn't have the energy! When it expired, I tried to renew online but there was a problem w/the way my son set up the acct. So, I ran to Best Buy the next day, picked up a card that was on sale again (bonus!) and was able to use a reward certificate that I had earned recently (double bonus!!).

It's better to buy the 12 month than the 3 month individuals.

What is there really to say about this item? It's a card that gives you access to xbox live gold. You scratch off the back and enter the code, it's done. I only buy these when I find them on sale, so I really only spent about 30 bucks for the year. The only knock I would give is that since I bought this for my Xbox One I would like them to add the code on back for my kinect camera to scan instead of entering the code free hand.

I only paid 39.99 for this it is was a great deal I love it

This happened to be on sale when I bought my Xbox One and haven't had any problems. I typed in the code on the back of the car and it was connected in a matter of seconds.

We bought this membership for our son and it has been a great way for him to keep up with friends. The membership also has paid for itself in free game downloads already.

My son loves his Live membership. Gives him lots of options for entertainment. Uses his Xbox for so many other things besides just playing games. Well worth the money.
