Standard Xbox Gold membership, that is a great deal. I turned off auto renew with Xbox just so I could take advantage of sales on the membership cards.

it's a yearly thing...Microsoft charges $60 to play games on line. I love the concept but you'd think that the price would go down not up each year

If you have an xbox you need xbox live in to access the most content. Better yet look for the xbox live deal with an extra month thrown in.

You have to have online to access many of the games and some to just access online features. It definitely enhances the Xbox experience.
