You can't go wrong with a 12 month gold subscription. I purchase at least one every year for my son who is an avid gamer. Occasionally I purchase one as a gift for my brother.

I bought this card for my nephew as a holiday gift and it is great! Now we can play online and take advantage of the discounts that the XBox store has to offer.

What you see is what you get with this prepaid card. It's nice that you don't have to give your credit card info to Microsoft or have to worry about monthly renewal fees. I give it 4 stars because some of these cards come with a bonus month that adds to the value, but mine did not. If you're going for a prepaid card, check to see if they have bonus month ones first.
