Love my xbox live but always wait till it's on sale I usually can find 1 year cards for 40 or less and I max out my account when I do

I don't like paying for xbox live, but at $5 for 3 months, its not too bad. Wish I could stock up on a bunch of them for later, but oh well.

Really glad I bought this item at Best Buy, I got an additional 3 months of XBOX LIVE GOLD by buying it at Best Buy and then for $1 more I was able to upgrade it to 6 months of XBOX ULTIMATE. Besy Buy runs some great promos.

While it's unfortunate that Microsoft pinches Xbox players into paying for its Xbox Live Gold service (something freely given by Sony to PS players), we Xbox owners know the gist of this product by now. While it's regrettable that an Xbox Live Gold pass is something we have to buy to play most things online with others, it's nice to be able to get a nice bonus tossed in with the add-on of the PUBG stocking cap that's included in this special packaging. Even better that this 3-month Gold subscription card was on sale for $10 off the normal price when I purchased it.

I have had Xbox Live for about 10 years now and will continue to purchase it for years to come. You can still use streaming apps and play campaign modes of games without live, but the ability to play multiplayer online with friends is worth the $5/month.

Would have been great if cashier completed the purchase and activated the card would have saved me trip to return to store providing proof of purchase to have then activate the card

Easy to redeem. The staff was friendly and helpful answering our questions.. We had picked the wrong card and they was able to pick up on our mistake and gave up right one for our console.

Back in the day you used to pay $60 to simply play online - not anymore. Finally it's worth paying for XBOX live because of a few new features: 1. Games with gold. Free games that you get to keep, many of which are at least decent if not great. 2. Games with gold discounts. I buy primarily digital games (see point 3) and instead of paying full price I usually wait till games with gold discounts apply. Already picked up 3 relatively new games for 50% off. 3. Family sharing. Got a family member or friend you want to share ALL of your digital games with ANYTIME? You can even play those same games together at the same time. Read it up online, it's a really sweet benefit. FYI Only ONE person can be your designated to share with.
