it is well worth buying the year plan , instead of the others comes out a lot cheaper. my son also use this to talk to his friends

Bought this so my kids could play online. Now we can also watch Netflix and Hulu with it as well. Great entertainment all around.

Well its an online membership you purchase at the store, enter the code and there you go your a member on Xbox. Xbox is awesome.

This is necessary for online play with friends but you will get at least 3 free games a month, and these are games you can play on Xbox One and also Xbox 360, so seriously it is a good deal. This card is what I get every year because it is the best way to renew if you are not comfortable with any kind of automatic renewal where I have to give them my credit card info, etc.

Nice opportunity to try out the Xbox Gold membership without having to buy a complete year. Good value for it's return.

I would recommend getting the 12 month membership. But you need live if you want to have any fun with your Xbox.

You get the same Xbox live, bit its cheaper than buying it directly from Xbox live. What is not to like?

My membership expires every year in the beginning of December. Black Friday at Best they had the best price around.
