Next time I'm buying the year pass to get a better deal

I knocked this product's rating down a notch because the free games with gold only applies to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners, not Xbox 360 owners, so it has less value to Xbox 360 owners. Still, for the box One and Xbox Series X|S owners, getting 2 free games a month for about $5/month is a pretty good deal (we'll see if Game Pass ruins that

Best value and you don't have to worry about monthly payments with possible account mistakes each month. Unless you enjoy paying more and dealing with errors, I don't.

Got on Black Friday for 4.99 can't beat the price.

If you play xbox live then you will want to get the full year. It is the best value compared to paying month by month.

Well worth the price. Purchased the Gold membership for my son and it's worth getting the one year vs the 3 Month because on average you save more $$'s. Will be getting him another one year when this one is up.

If you don't want to spend the $60 on the 12 month Live this is the better option. Avoid the 3 month it's not worth it. I purchased both during the holidays and at first the 3 month was better for my bf stocking stuffer and to get him started $24.99. But then this one went on sale for $29.99 closer to Christmas and to get a refund for the 3 month was a hassle so I ended up paying $55 for both which was a waste cause I could've gotten a 12 month for $5 more had I known I wouldn't be able to return these cards even though thy weren't activated. But overall this is the better value for $15 more at it's original price over the 3 month it worth it.

Literally, you have to have it if you have one, most of the best games require you to have it, so you might as well buy the year's worth, it's much easier than trying to remember to buy it each month.
