I had a $5 best buy coupon, so this made this 3 month membership even better. The best thing about gold is the free game download every month. So even if you don't purchase a full year membership, at least you can get a few free games for next to nothing.

Xbox live is a good service experience for online gaming, but it's expensive. I only like to buy when it's on sale.

I've been an Xbox live gold member for about 10 years. It's a fantastic service and, at $60 per year (retail), it is great value for the money. It keeps getting better as they offer more services and now with their integration with Windows P.C.s

Having Xbox live makes your gaming experience way better than offline. If you have a game that has multi-player, like battlefield 1, then having live is worth the money. Being able to play against other people and friends online is really cool

Hey this is the oldest running subscription on xbox. Even tho you need this to play multiplayer games online. I do enjoy the free games they offer every month as well as the extra discount on games.
