Even tho you need this to play multiplayer games online. I do enjoy the free games they offer every month as well as the extra discount on games.

The best thing about gold is the free game download every month. So even if you don't purchase a full year membership, at least you can get a few free games for next to nothing.

If you have a game that has multi-player, like battlefield 1, then having live is worth the money. Being able to play against other people and friends online is really cool

It's a fantastic service and, at $60 per year (retail), it is great value for the money. It keeps getting better as they offer more services and now with their integration with Windows P.C.s
