The Xbox Live membership is needed if you want to use online gaming or many apps. The 12 Month card is the best deal, and it was on-sale too!

This is a good method to test if you will like online game play and if worth the money. To get the best experience, make sure you have a good internet connection. If you are IT savvy, give your console bandwidth priority through your wired or wireless router. We have a fiber connection and the game play is smooth. I understand fiber may not be available in all areas but a good and fast cable or dsl connection should suffice.

Every year I purchase a 12 month Xbox gold card for my son at Christmas. It is a much better value than the monthly subscription to Xbox.

Like buying the cards to not have anything on the xbox itself for payments.

If you’re not sure about needing Xbox live I would get this 3 month pass. 1 month just isn’t enough time to see if you really wanna spend $60 a year so go with this. I love Xbox live and can’t go without it

lets me have access to send cash to microsoft, for "live gold" service, without giving my credit card info to them or having that card # transferred electronically on the web, or over the phone, it really works for me

The membership is to easy to upload and gets you lots of online playtime. It is definitely a necessity if you're an oline gamer.

I would recommend the 6 month or year. They would give you a bit more for your money I believe.

Games for Gold is a great way to get many games per month, plus I like beating others online.

This was an extra with purchase. The kids love Xbox Live to play online with their friends. Figure this was a $30 retail value. Ultimate game pass runs around $15 a month. The conversion for this only covered one month of ultimate game pass, you figure they would give you 2 months but it was a freebie so...
