Xbox live allows my son to play games on line with his friends anywhere. He has a game system at home and at grandma's and Xbox live allows him to log in from either location.

You get 2-3 free game downloads. Titles change every month. You also receive discounts on digital downloads. Must buy when you purchase a console because you get a discount on this.

The game card worked as advertised and did indeed give me access to Xbox live, so I don't really have any complaints.

It's only worth it when you get it on sale if not just get a year one it will save you more money I got like 15 cards when it was on sale using them one at a time

Love to play with other member online. You can also get free games online. The down side is that you have to keep the membership to keep the game.

It's the best way to buy a membership for Xbox Live. Once a year and you're done. I love it because you do not have to use any credit cards online. And it's cheaper then month to month.

I would only recommend buying this when it is on sale, which happened regularly around the Christmas holidays. I did have an issue with redeeming the code, and I’m wondering if it was not activated properly in the store. It took much time and a long phone call to get the code redeemed correctly on the Xbox. It should not have been this difficult, and it went much smoother when I purchased the code online.

I was able to buy my XBOX Live 12 month membership on sale and saved $20.00. Best Buy offers this sale periodically and its a great way to save some money, especially if you are a gamer.

Got it on sale for $40. Required for online play but they give you 4 free games a month, plus access to better deals. Don't pay full price ($60) as it goes on sale multiple times a year.
