Microsoft's only saving grace with how they operate in their gaming ecosystem. Games with Gold is normally great, the support seems good for the most part, and I feel like I'm actually getting value out of what I'm buying. It's reliable, usable, and is discounted often enough that I don't mind how it's required.

Happy to keep this program for my Xbox. I'm not much of a gamer, but the few I do play are even better with the ability to live play with other people.

Xbox gold is required for online multiplayer but you get 4 free games a month and extra discounts on digital purchases so it is totally worth it.
