Works just as it should. To add Xbox Live Gold to your account. Can be used in conjunction with Xbox Live Ultimate to add up to three years (36 months) of Xbox Live Ultimate to your account. What I did was add three of these cards to my account, then afterwards I added a month of Xbox Live Ultimate to convert all of my Xbox Live Gold 1:1 into Xbox Live Ultimate.

Great buy if you can't afford the 12 month membership. You can stack the cards ands the time adds up. My son asked for a 12 membership for Christmas and I told his aunts and uncle to get the 3 month cards and he was able to add all the cards at one time and it added up to the 12 months he asked for.

When they go on sale, it's almost a requirement to buy a 3-month Xbox Gold membership card to get the most out of an Xbox One. My two boys love to play online games against their friends. It's a shame it requires a purchase to play online, but on sale, it's worth every penny.

If your child has an xbox they will want to go live. I buy these all the time. Wait for a sale though.
