XBOX LIVE is a wonderful service that involves much more than just gaming. I renew mine every year, and give it as a gift often.

$34.99 is hard to find for these so it was a good deal at the time. I just wish it was an online code instead of mailing the card.

Like not having to put my credit card info on my boyfriend's xbox to renew membership....so no extra charges show up later!!

I purchased this online and got it shipped to me. When I tried to activate the code, my xbox indicated that the card wasn't activitated properly. So I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Microsoft and they confirmed that it was not activated and they could not assist me. The card had to be activated by the vendor. I then drove over to best buy and spent a hour talking to their customer service and the manager who would not take a return on this item because the code was scratched off on the back and it was a online purchase. I basically lost $40 on this purchase and best buy has been horrible to deal with.

You should have sales or discounts for purchasing new cards for repeat customers or a way to earn ways to buy new cards.

Until Microsoft stops holding half the their product features HOSTAGE I guess this is the best way to go THANKS BEST BUY

It was on sale so it was easier to buy. s a must if you want to play on live.

If you own an xbox 360 you need xbox live. Otherwise you are missing out on so much content and functionality.

Service is good on Xbox, though this Gold card is necessary.

One year subscription membership is the only way to go.

Can't get online on the Xbox without it so its needed

When I picked up the card and got home the code was not working. We drove all the way back to the store and no one was willing to help since the silver was scratched off (by us) to see the code. We were told to talk to microsoft. After number of communications back and forth it turns out that the card was not activated. BB does not know what they are doing and was not willing to help and we had to do all the work that they were suppose to do. NOT happy with the experience.

After getting a PS Vita and PS Network Plus subscription, it has shattered my view of the Xbox Live experience. PSN offers free games to download at a lesser price. Apps on the Xbox REQUIRE Live Gold, PlayStation does not. No comparison.

Without this you can't enjoy the xbox one too much' something Idont like is even though it's gold we still have to pay for the xbox music
