Have to have it for any xbox system. Good deal when buying 3 months together.

My son and I have enjoyed Xbox Live Gold since 2008. It's nice to be able to just fire up the system and dive into multiplayer gaming without having to prearrange a LAN party. I've never let the subscription lapse; that should tell you something about my perceived value of the service.

I heard a rumor that the 12-month membership was no longer going to exist, so I hopped on the Best Buy app and snatched one up. Easy. Got the code via email within about 20 minutes and I was back online gaming.

Works as expected. Picked up an Xbox series S and wanted to test out the graphics on Rocket League. Fun game, free to own. This card has unlocked the full potential that is the Xbox Series S.

What can we say about our overlord Microsoft? At least BestBuy can get us our tribute instantly and ready for quick activation on the console.

I was very satisfied with the holiday offer for the Xbox which included a discounted 3 month Gold live account.

This is a necessary evil. My sons still loves their Xbox so every year I dish out the money for this (entirely overpriced to buy in increments less than 12 months). To be honest, I don't play the games so I have no idea why it is necessary but I do know I am notified immediately every time it runs out. I really wish Xbox would give us a loyal customer discount but wishful thinking on my part.

Xbox live is the best I always cry inside as I was always able to get vendor deals on live when I worked @ Best Buy. Oh well I love the free games as they are worth 5-10 mins of entertainment on average

You get about 3 free games a month so it kinda pays for itself it really gave me games I would have never looked at otherwise.

You basically have to have this in order to play competitively and especially if you are playing online.

XBOX Live Gold membership is a must have if you're going to spend the money on the XBOX. Tons of free games, extras, and other specials that make it well worth the $5/month/$60/yr. Special going right now where you get 2 free games a month through the end of the year with GOLD; sure, they're not the most brand new games, but they're FREE. Membership also gives you the ability to play multiplayer if you're into that, but my favorite feature by far is the ability to download games instead of buying them. Less clutter which is great if you're OCD!

I love the cards cause because it keeps my deb card or credit card of the xbox and even playstation if this was a playstation card. Its easier and safer.

Xbox live Gold is worth the money. Being able to play online plus the free monthly games! Should do it!

this is really worth it and it's all also great so you can play with your friends.

Even if you don't play online all the time the free games you get every month make the subscription worth it.

All the games and membership were purchased for my grandsons birthday. According to my son he is constantly playing the games once he finishes all his homework. He and his friends have already come pretty close to mastering the games. It keeps them busy for quite some time....

Good way to get your first 3 months of Gold. I think you can only use it once and only for new accounts.
