The prices for these online subscription services are getting out of hand. I wish they would at least offer free multiplayer like steam does.

Getting at least 3 months of Xbox live is a really smart investment considering that you can't talk to friends or play multiplayer without it. Not only do you get access to online features but you get free games every month, like Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider and Theif! All really good games.

I can't even imagine having an Xbox and not having Gold membership. It's worth it just for the free games you can download every month. Unlike with Playstation, you keep the games you download with Gold forever until you delete them. Definitely worth the money!

Since Microsoft are giving away 2 free games every month on xbox live on Xbox live members. I decided to get this 12 month membership and got discount because I purchased the Xbox one. Definitely worth to have xbox live membership and you can get 2 free games every month from xbox live.

Still nice you can get the 12 month subscription here because you can’t get it through Microsoft anymore.

I think this was a great price for one year. If you are looking to play online I would choose the card for one year it's worth it.

i got this for $20 less because I just bought the Xbox One console and it is pretty much a must have to get the most out of the console. It was easy to set up and use and the interface is set up nicely. However, the attacks on the network have been ongoing and annoying during peak usage time and I am always concerned about the security of my information when this takes place. Other than that the perks for being a gold member are a nice thank you from MS that' this gamer appreciates for years of loyalty.
