12 months - of multiplayer glory. These are great to buy as gifts for kids that don't have access to credit cards so they can play with their xbox live friends. Gold membership also gets you about 4 games a month as a bonus to keep. Xbox 360 and earlier games as part of this offer are yours to keep, however Xbox One games only are yours so long as your account has an active Gold membership. Be careful when scratching off to reveal the codes on these cards. Scratch too hard, and you will not be able to see the code printed on the cardboard surface underneath!

Pay to play is a little annoying but necessary evil I would say. Getting $10 off when buying with my XBox One console at same time at Best Buy made the blow somewhat lighter.

If you have best buy rewards, what a great way to get a discounted Xbox Live Gold subscription. Plus when you redeem the code that you get in the email and plug in to your xbox live acount on microsoft website, make sure to check auto renewal to get 1 extra month for free, so you have 13 months now!

Have had previously. Its a given that you need this in order to take full advantage of your x-box, but in the end it's worth it. Not only does it allow you to play/communicate with others, but Microsoft offers deals on games and even some that are free. You do get billed for it every year but they are good about giving you a heads up via e-mail that they are getting ready to charge your card on file.

Based on previous problems with the xbox live account, I was concerned that this would be a long painful process. But the setup worked first time and have had no issues since.

Xbox love gold gets an extra boost on value if you upgrade to ultimate game pass for 1 dollar, you can’t go wrong with it, I bought 3 years worth of gold and upgraded to ultimate game pass instead of spending 60 dlls for just 6 months of gamepass

I went into my local Best Buy because I was searching online for this item and the site said there were 3 left. I get there and the young man in the video game department told me that had none. After looking around, he was able to find one and get me in and out quickly. I was impressed with his level of effort and helpfulness. My son was thrilled to receive this on Christmas morning.
