I bought this for my 11 year old son alon with a new Xbox One S for Christmas. It was a great deal, 3 months for $14.99! Could'nt beat it for the price and it activated right away!

So if you're planning on playing online, you're going to need an X-Box Live account. Might as well get a yearly membership, and with the gold membership you get to play some free games, so it's worth it.

Xbox live is a must (obviously), but buying a digital code is very accessible and easy.

The reason I'm giving this four stars and not five is because I had to purchase it to play madden 17 online. I didn't know this in the beginning but know I do. There are some perks to having the subscription like discounts on games, and free games monthly. I would not recommend this for $10 a month but I would recommend the annual subscription which cuts the price in half.

This is the first time I bought a xbox live digital product instead of physical one and it is very convenient to use just go to microsoft website and activate your membership.

Buying the digital version of the card is easy as well as using it when you need. Time by time you can find different deals for the 3-6-12month cards, choose and use as you need!

Buying it this way saved ten dollars off the normal price.
