The only reason I purchased the 3 month subscription was because it was on sale so it was a good investment. If not, I would have purchased the year subscription.

Got the 3 month subscription because it was on sale. Couldn’t beat the price compared to the full year cost. Will keep an eye out for a sale like this one again.

Nice way to get started but you gonna want the 12month to keep going. Was disappointed that I cant add this to my current 12month plan to extend it.

Some people are concerned paid Xbox Live Gold is going away, but Xbox has said they do not intend for that to happen. They are discontinuing 12 month cards and it's no longer a digital option on the XB1 store. This will save you a little compared to multiple $25 options. Best use, stock up to 36 months of live then redeem the offer on the dashboard for either $1 or if already used once, $15 to convert all of it for one payment to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So $60 per card, and one conversion charge of $1 or $15. Well worth it.

Gives you enough time to decide if you want the online devices or not. I did and would recommend to anyone. Xbox over everything.

If you own an Xbox, this is a must have. No only to you get access to play your games online but Microsoft gives out free games every month. No brainer if you own an Xbox.

If you can't afford the 12 months of Xbox live gold and need or want it buy this it's $25 for 3 months plus a lot of free games with Xbox live gold so it's worth the price.

It’s nice to see that Microsoft gives you options. Sometimes you really don’t need 12 full months, and you need a little more than a month. This fits the bill.

I purchased a 12 month Xbox Live Gold membership for the first time on Best Buy a couple years ago and I love the convenience. I typically use the "Online Game Code" option which provides you with a code you enter on your Xbox or within your Xbox Live account. This allows me to make the purchase and basically instantly redeem the code on my Xbox Live account. It's great if you need to quickly start, reactivate or extend membership without waiting for a physical card to arrive in the mail or without needing to run to the store to buy one. I also like using these prepaid cards or codes to pay for Xbox Live over paying with a credit card or debit card. If you pay with a credit/debit card Microsoft typically automatically renews it when your subscription is up. As a single dad I may not always have the required funds where they need to be when that happens. I don't like surprises and the associated fees that come with them. ;) I prefer not having a credit card linked to my Xbox anyway because it helps prevent fraud and the kids can't "accidentally" purchase something.
