Even if your son already has a yearly subscription, he may still use the code on this card to extend his Xbox Live Gold membership by three months. I have a PS4 and a Xbox One X really I don’t mind purchasing this for Live because Live is better experience for the money. You can’t beat Live steam PSN no other experience makes it easier to game. Maybe one day this will be a free service but for now we have to pay for it just like my Costco membership it eventually pays for it self with use.
