This is money essentially. For $60 you get a year of Live service for your Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Windows gaming devices. This is priced exactly like it would be through the online system, so if you can get one on sale (often it is included in whatever holiday promo is going on) you essentially get $60 for less which is about as good a deal as you'll ever get.

It is absolutely necessary to have an Xbox Live subscription on your Xbox. They now award you with free games each month, They also allow you to score points with gamerscore and surveys to convert into real currency which you can spend in the Microsoft Store. There are also plenty of apps to take advantage of and allows you to play online with your other friends who own an Xbox,

Buying the three months live for 14 to 16 books works out for me Instead of buying the 12 months and not using it half of the year.

This was a Christmas gift for my son. He requested it. I don't play video games so i can't review it first hand but he said it's a great game.

Need to get another one.. I noticed you can do a lot with the card and Best Buy have longer ones to chose from. Will get the 12month next visit

I love Xbox Live. It's practically required if you use an Xbox One and a 1 year subscription is the best deal. You can buy these subscriptions on the Xbox itself but I prefer prepaid cards so that Xbox doesn't try to set up an automatic renewal for you. I get my subscription at best buy so I can earn Best Buy points towards a certificate to help me pay for new games.
