I got lucky and got this card while it was on sale for 14.99! I would have bought a few more if I had had the extra funds. It was a great deal.

To start off, I'd like to say that X-Box Live is amazing and worth every penny. Online gaming is incredibly fun and quite a good way to pass time. That aside, there are downsides to X-Box Live that can be avoided through prepaid cards. Number one, you always run the risk that unwarranted transactions will be made if your credit card information is stored on your X-Box 360 system. It may not happen all that often, but it's best to avoid it all together. The biggest reason to buy prepaid Xbox Live card is the renewal process that happens when you don't use one. If you order X-Box Live through your system, it'll renew every time your subscription runs out. This wouldn't be a problem except that it's not that easy to cancel. Instead of canceling through your system, you have to go through the hassle of actually calling X-Box Live support. Even then, depending on the representative you get, you may be hassled to keep your subscription because they really don't want you to cancel it. I'm guessing that's part of their job to convince you to keep it, but it still is frustrating to the person that is trying to cancel it. You'll have to go through this process every time you want to cancel if you don't use a prepaid card. Is that hassle really worth it? I don't think so. Therefore, avoid all of the problems by simply buying a prepaid card. You won't be sorry.

Purchased this on Bestbuy.com for $4.99! I wasn't sure what it even did, but since I was purchasing an Xbox One I assumed it was necessary. Couldn't be happier:-)

On thanksgiving they were on sale for $9.99 each. Max was 3. Then go back and buy additional as needed again. You can buy these over the web site.

I give this a 5 star for a few reasons. 1 the 12 Month membership isn't available online for Microsoft and i had to go to the store to get it. 2 xbox live is great and allows you to play with friends all over the world while getting to play certain games for free online. All in all, a great buy! Dont fall for the 3 or 6 month membership.

Cheaper than buying a 9.99 every month .. it’s nice to just forget about having to get live for a few months

Great value! Plus you can upgrade it to game pass right now for one $1 a month! There must be some kinda of glitch in the system cause it matched my 12 month subscription for $12! Now i dont have to pay $15 a month for the game pass ultimate. If you own a xbox you need to buy these cards. Some stores are doing away witht he 12month subscription cards and only have the 1 month and 3 month ones. So buy these while you can

my son wanted this for his xbox one system since he plays with his school buddies all the time online. very good value instead of paying for a single month.

My kid likes it cause he can play on line with all those other kids with foul mouths. I like how much smarter the world has become, but could do without what it has become. It being the internet and everything that comes with it. I.e. social media. Other than that it’s great.

Great price for the 3 month membership. Easier to buy these cards than having my bank charged for months I may not be around to play.
