I had purchased gold cards before and had no problems, this time around it seemed nothing was going right. After two attempts to purchase and use the gold card and getting errors when entering the code I gave up got my money back and had to purchase a year membership on line. That of course worked fine and I did not like putting my card information online to much of an issue nowadays.

Ordered online on December 10 for Xmas. Received on January 11. The main problem was it shipped USPS. It sat in a facility in DC for7 days. Then another 14 days in MD. The secondary problem is I could have picked up up in a local store on Dec 12, Dec 15, and eventually did pick it up on Dec 18th.

I bought two Xbox live 12 mos gold membership one of them didn’t work

So my fiancé bought an Xbox for me as a gift and of course an online membership because I didn’t know know if it was going to come with a free online trial. I changed my mind and wanted the nintendo switch instead. Although i was able to receive a refund for the xbox, I’m stuck with a useless xbox live membership.

Bought it mainly for the beanie. The beanie is low quality but what could I have expected?

The free games are average nothing nice, and after the year you can't play anymore

When entering the code to redeem the card. I'm getting the message "Card is not yet active. Contact the merchant." Anyone else run into this issue? Of course calling I can't get through to BestBuy...

Got it for $30 instead of 40. Its 6 months tho. Should be cheaper

Free games for gold are ancient and seasoned. You already pay for your internet subscription, but for some reason you need to pay more to play the games you bought online. And, for some reason the price only ever goes up unless its a holiday sale...

Card was used. Seems to be Reoccurring problem with these cards. Be aware for some reason some of these cards are used. When you try to use them it’s rejected *** Best Buy is not responsible for these cards, they sell them for Xbox. I have no problem with BestBuy

It's sometimes necessary, but I'm not a fan of these.

Not worth $60. Microsoft charges more for live then ever before but never upgraded the servers or increased the bandwidth as they promised when releasing the Xbox one. Every year bandwidth of your average online application doubles. What's Microsoft doing to make it better?

I bought xbox live gold pass with my Xbox One set, but apparently it was invalid. I called the Xbox support and they confirmed that it was invalid. Spent $60.00 on it, which THEY gave me, and apparently its invalid.

Purchased this item at Christmas for my son's xbox. 5 weeks later and 15 phone calls to Microsoft and they still cannot get the 12 month membership to work. Microsoft has been awful to deal with, I would never recommend this product.

This is BS..I bought this as a Xmas gift for my son..it's says 12 month membership.. Than they decide to increase their price and only got 4 months . The card says 12.

Really disappointed that so many of today's games require the extra expense of these memberships. It's bad enough to shell out $60+ for a game but an additional membership just adds insult to injury.
