Its a pretty good way to spend time inside, xbox live has evolved and although 60 might seem like a lot, its for a year and plus we get free games. Try to buy them when they are 40$ for a better value.

I have been an XBOX Live member since owning the 1st XBOX. Online gaming such as Call of Duty, Destiny, Star Wars Battlefront is awesome! I would definitely recommend this for any Xbox owner.

Soucis having to play for live every year when you already pay for the games but no way to get around it I guess if you want to play online.

If you own an Xbox One, you owe it to yourself to get Xbox Live Gold. It may feel like paying for online access but you're getting much more. I honestly rarely game online. However, Gold gets you now (on Xbox One) 4 free games a month! 2 Xbox One games, and 2 backwards compatible Xbox 360 games, all included in your membership. No, you won't like every game they give you, but it only takes a couple here and there to start making this immediately worth your money. If you also game online, it's that much more worth it. Plus there are some exclusive offers and deals you can get as a member.

I bought these cards when they were on sale. I bought a couple. The price was to good to pass up on a yearly membership for xbox. Money was well spent.

Very convenient, just scratch off and input the number to redeem your membership. I did it on the actual Xbox, was on Xbox Live in less than 2 minutes.

Xbox Live gives you a lot for your money. You get at least 2 free games a month (sometimes a AAA title like Gears of War) which more than pays for the cost of the subscription. Sometimes they give you 4 games a month (2 for the Xbox One and 2 for the 360, all of the 360 games they offer for free are playable on the Xbox One). The service is amazingly stable as I have seldom ever seen the service 'go down.' Truth be told, I love this service.
