I purchased this for a family member who is a big time gamer and absolutely loves xbox. I would definitely purchase this game gift card again or highly recommend for a last minute gift purchase Gift cards are always a perfect item if you need a gift and it's a last minute thought

For xbox live that is around 2.17 cheaper a month. May not seem like much but with gold you get free games. Free does not always equal great but saving some money each month does. That is a little under 29.00 a year. In summary if you have xbox and want gold wait till it's on sale. Best buy I noticed usally does the sales around Christmas and start of summer.

Three stars only as a gift to someone else but perhaps a Microsoft store gift card so the person could pay the difference toward the 12-month sub.
