if you have an Xbox one, it wouldn't be complete without having Xbox live gold. The ability to play with friends or even anyone in general and to be able to download new content is such a necessity!

There's no way around it - you need this to play online. The Games with Gold bonus is welcome, though some games are less desirable than the offerings seen on PlayStation+

This is great for the price you get a year of gold and live and the games are so greatly discounted with gold would totally buy again.
