got smaller term as gift normally just buy the year...better deal

I got this from Best Buy store and was complete waste of money. The card was not activated at point of purchase either because of Best Buy or Microsoft error but neither acknowledge the error and I am unable to redeem it. It comes with error on activation and the worst part is Microsoft support rep Kevin instead of giving replacement code blames me of stealing the card.

Purchase xbox live 3 month membership and it doesn't work. Not sure if it's Best Buy's fault b/c they didn't activated the card properly or what but I don't even know where to turn. It was like throwing money out the window.

the card wasnt activated when it was purchased. Called microsoft they said to return it to best buy. Best Buy said to called microsoft. Its bad customer service on both sides when comes to xbox live cards.

Best Buy failed to activate card before shipping then refused to activate later or ship a replacement. Looking forward to doing more business with Walmart.

You have to have it to do anything with your Xbox one. Microsoft doesn't give you a choice.

I wanted a purchase membership code for my son but was not sure how it would work. To be on the safe side i decided to purchase the 3 moth Gold instead of the 12 months in case it did not work but it work perfectly.The instruction was clear therefore once i followed the instruction on how to enter the code it worked instantly. Our three months is not up as yet and my son has no complaint and cant wait to purchase another one.

I get it when went on sale, it is practical if you just want to try it, and if you don't like it no need to expend a lot of money

I purchased a 3 month card which included 800 points when it was on sale here. This was a great value and BB have these sales occasionally. And if you're playing Xbox 360 without Live you're basically missing out on an experience. I highly recommend buying this card.

I got this right before Xmas for $12.99 on a one day deal. I ordered two at this great price. My son was so happy to receive it in his stocking and I was happy to not worry about it for another 6 months. I went online, ordered to pick up in store and picked it up the same day. It was the easiest transaction.

Well I must be that guy but I don't think there is anything of real value to being an XBOX live GOLD member. You need GOLD to play games online against others. You need GOLD to watch Netflix and Youtube. You need GOLD to pretty much do anything on XBOX except to pay for other things on XBOX. These things are free on other platforms. ALL OF THEM! From Andriod, iOS, Wii, PS3, and PC. Also, BluRay Players and Smart TVs. ....Tablets. Windows Phone 7/8.......... Seriously, Netflix needs GOLD. Until Sony can create a decent enough market for me to Want to play their games online, Microsoft is the only game in town.

Great way to game with friends and strangers! Some people think it is quite costly, however this is a great value for the money spent.

I bought these during black friday at $10, best price then. It can get very expensive though when buying it at regular price
