Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the superb graphics and the overall quality of the console as significant strengths of the Xbox One 500GB Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle. Many also praise the bundle's price and ease of use. However, some customers express concerns regarding the limited storage space and find the user interface somewhat cumbersome. The relatively small memory capacity is another point of feedback from some users.

While I am primarily a Playstation user, I also have a Xbox 360 and put off buying a One until now. I had only played the original Halo and Halo 2 a little at friends' houses but remastered on next generation hardware? Yes, please. Setup was seamless and paired with the Covert Forces controller, this has been a great purchase.

I love my Xbox one! The graphics are insane, wifi is built right in, and it doubles as a blu ray player! Navigation and controls are easy to use. And the Halo Master Chief Collection lets you download and play all of the previous Halos that have been released over the years. There's also a new technology called SmartGlass that allows you to control your Xbox One from your cell phone. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the netflix app doesn't work on this machine yet.

The system is incredibly functional and easy to setup. I was playing games almost immediately. Hooking up to my Uverse account was a snap. The quality of the TV picture is not great, but it is a nice bonus feature of the system. I am looking forward to continually learning about the system and its amazing features.

I had a hard time making the jump to next gen because I felt the games weren't there at the time of launch to support my decision. But now, there are tons of great games on the system and with Halo 5 coming out soon, why not! Get this bundle and start playing through the previous games to catch up for this one!!

The Xbox One is a great upgrade from the 360. The upgraded graphics are fitting for the new games. I use the Xbox for gaming and watching movies and TV shows on Netflix or Amazon Video. It's convenient how the Xbox Marketplace offer apps for those two services. This is an awesome all-in-one entertainment system.

I was hesitant to even buy an Xbox One until I heard that backwards compatibility was on the way. I still use my 360 for gaming for now, but the graphics for movies and the One games are amazing. You can even plug your 360 in through the tv port to use the snap feature but personally I think there's a slight lag.

I purchased the Xbox One to upgrade my Destiny experience -- at first I wasn't sure it was worth it, but with faster load times, richer graphics, and a smoother gameplay experience, I'm glad I did. The weakest point is that the controller does disconnect at times (often in the midst of game play) (thus the loss of a star). I hope Microsoft will fix this with an update.

I've been waiting a while for a decent Xbox One bundle to hit the shelves so I can finally upgrade to the next generation of consoles. This was more or less exactly what I was looking for. The Master Chief Collection is a nice package deal to tide Halo fans over until ODST and Guardians comes out later this year.

At first I wanted the PS4 due to being smaller form factor and better hardware. The PS4 controller also fits really nicely in the hand. I hadn't even considered the Xbox One. Then the prices started to drop and combo deals like this one came about. I got the Xbone Halo package (technically 4 games in 1 packed in) and also got 1 free new game (I chose ESO) to go along with it. Then at checkout they gave me an offer for like 1/3 off the yearly Xbox Live Gold subscription. It felt like I was getting away with something for the money I was spending. I used the console for a week or two before the loadtimes on the hard drive started to get to me. I was able to stick a Samsung 500gb EVO SSD in a $12 USB 3.0 enclosure and just plug it in. It worked flawlessly and is much faster. I've read that this isn't as simple on the PS4. I am definitely happy with my purchase. P.S. The reason the Xbone is so much bigger than the PS4 is because Microsoft learned their lesson from the RROD fiasco, and left ample space in the box for heat dissipation. I can't fault them at all for that.

Everything works smooth, doesn't power on if headset in plugged into the controller, controller has a hard time connecting, dashboard isn't very straight forward like the 360, and the interface is confusing at first, but runs faster and can multitask between apps, not backwards comparable which is a sham, Microsoft could have done a little better I can see why so many people haven't upgraded from the 360, should have gone with the play station 4 instead :/

Xbox one, with controller and the HALO MC game collection was a great deal. My son purchased this with his savings while Best Buy was having an xbox 360 upgrade special. The graphics and home entertainment value of the One are quite impressive. The remastered HALO collection was fun for him, as well as for me.

Halo and Xbox are two of my favorite things; and putting it all in one is outstanding. The Xbox One is an EXTREMELY fun console to play. I've played both (PS4 and One) and in my opinion the One surpasses in every aspect. The graphics are so real, the game play is so much better, and the UI is beautiful.

I'm not a big gamer myself, so I mainly use the Xbox One for Netflix and other apps. My boyfriend loves the graphics when he's playing games; so clear and nearly lifelike. I also like the Kinect feature of turning it on/off and other voice commands; pretty nifty while you're looking for the controller.

I am a long time gamer both on PC and consoles so when it came to choosing a console, I was quite picky. Once I got the console I was blown away by the fact that my console was: * quiet as a whisper * booted up in no time (literally seconds) * automatically updated in the background and as part of the preview member program I also got free monthly updates before anyone else * the controller is fantastic, and the rumble in the triggers is a lot of fun in Forza (a driving game) With the fantastic game lineup, ability to play my Xbox 360 games, ability to use EA Access (a subscription service for $30/year that gives you access to a vault of games) something not available on PS4 and free Games with Gold that are Xbox 360 games will also work on Xbox One, it is hard to complain. My complaints are my hard drive of 500GB is tiny compared to the content I am putting on it and the console itself is pretty big and has an external power supply that is also huge. I like it, and if you are a gamer, I think you will like it too!
