This was a gift for my son. And he has enjoyed playing with it.

It makes the time of trying to type out text and usernames on the Xbox way quicker for ease of use. The chat pad also has a feature to mute your microphone when you need to and case a volume changer for your headset and a shifting button for between game volume and party volume. The chat pad also has a large variety of symbols and has the same effieciency of typing on a keyboard. Overall this is a very time saving product that works with ease. Note: you can only hear voices in the headset that comes with it. So, invest in better headphones if you want the ability to hear the game as well.

I got this for my son and he uses it regularly. It works with his headset that normally uses the stereo adapter. It's able to control the volume and mute.

I like the ability to mute and increase volume on the fly. This chatpad allowed me to hear in-game sound and also hear Xbox live chat with minimal effort.

Worked right out of the box. Useful when inputting passwords and typing messages. Don’t use it constantly because it is a little bulky but I can play games effectively when using it if I decide to.

The keypad works great on the Xbox one for typing messages a lot faster also works well on the PC for those games you need to type Without having to have the bulky keyboard

I hate typing with a controller. As such, this little keyboard was exactly what I wanted for my Xbox One. It's high quality, and it works exactly as advertised. Recommended.

Definitely a must have! Makes searching the store, youtube, and the web so much easier. Once you go keyboard, you never go back...i even prefer the extra to hold onto.

unless you pair your Xbox with a phone through smart glass, entering characters into Xbox can be such a hassle. This product alleviates the hassle. I think an improvement to this product can be the ability to charge your controller without disconnecting keyboard piece from it.

So much easier typing than using the remote! Saves time!

Great addition to the XBOX controller saving you time on texting since the cursor keyboard is a time-suck. Two cool options, the first being the video clip grab which is a single button and the second a lite up display. The place to buy it BEST BUY.

This product is great, but I do wish more xbox apps would make use of the keyboard. Its excellent though at letting you use a headset and/or control volume with your controller

The chatpad itself works exactly as it should. Makes entering download codes MUCH easier. However, the audio jack is problematic. I have only used this on the new style controller and occasionally have mic issues where I can connect to chat or in a party and I can hear everyone but the mic will not allow me to talk back.

Very simple and easy to use than trying to use the analog buttons. Sometimes it comes off the controller easily and has to be put back on, but i recommend using it only when needed and then put it up.

Great addition to the Xbox controller. This allows you to not just type easier, but also setting commands such as volume control on your tv from the keyboard.

Well made with responsive keys, unlike other chat pads this one has backlite keys. The only drawback that I've found is the illumination doesn't last long enough. It also comes with a headset
