This makes entering the codes and passwords on the system so much easier that the old on screen keyboard. I am so much happier with the lack of annoyance this product has saved me from. I do not want to throw the controller through the TV screen because it does not want to let me stop on the letter I need to punch in for the code on screen. Now I just press the buttons on the keypad instead.

I tried to save money by getting a generic brand pad. Had problems hooking up the generic because it actually needed a Bluetooth dongle that didn't always stay connected, plus there were problems with the headset passthrough connector. Lesson learned, I got the official Xbox one chatpad. Works flawlessly, no extra dongle either. Simple plug and play and less bulky than the generic pad too.

This keypad is ideal for people who get frustrated at the slow peck and find method of enter titles, names or searching for a long phrase. It is exceptional for older game players who prefer a regular keypad as opposed to the cursor method for entering names and such. I highly recommend it. You cant believe you ever used the cursor method after you have tried one of these keypads.

I purchased the chatpad with the sole reason being that my grandson is very observant when I enter my pass code using the xbox controler. With the chatpad I can very quickly enter my passcode without him seeing and I don't have to worry about him purchasing stuff without my knowledge. It mounts quickly to the controler and adds a little but not much bulk to the controler. Does not get in the way

I so missed the chatpad from the 360 system, now I can finally type! Love the 2 programmable buttons. Great for one touch Game DVR, especially when you dont have a Kinect. Cortona works well with the headset/boom or other set you may have. Really fits good, form factor feels good, doesnt take away from controller handling. Only downfall, can't use my version of a contoller stand... No biggie

Works great plugs right in. Works with most apps. And love the head phone jack.

This makes typing in game much easier. My only complaint is that it seems to drain the controller batteries.

I bought the chatpad combo whole on sale at best buy for $25. In all honestythat is an awesome price for the fact you get the chatpad and a headset mic. The only negative thing is the headset mic is cheaply made and nowhere near the quality of the headset that comes with the system, however, for the price that's a quality sacrifice I was willing to make at that price. The chatpad requires an update fresh out the box. Overall it serves it's purpose.

This makes searching for movies and chatting so much easier. It tends to make the controller a little bulky but my husband has no issues with playing his games while this is attached.

I purchased this mainly for typing instead of using the controller. It works great. It makes controller a little heavier but not an issue to me.

Now let's go a show of hands: who likes typing in those download codes, Xbox Live activation numbers, or offline IMs where you're cycling with your remote from one number or letter to the next? I didn't think I'd see too many hands and I can't blame you. A serious tool whether your navigating Xbox Live or just chilling with old and new friends alike, the Chatpad really is the way to go.

I loved my chat pad for xbox 360. So i've been patiently waiting for them to release one for the xbox one. Finally, and it even has the biult in headset jack.

This chatpad makes all typing more convenient. Kind of bulky but its worth it

This keypad was MUCH needed. I've had the Xbox since it's release and this was always the missing piece. Now I just have to get used to using it instead of typing the old fashioned way that I've been used to for so long. The fact that it comes with a mic is great because it gives you time to find the right headset or just stick with that one. It's pretty good quality nice combo

A little expensive but functional. The buttons are pretty small but rarely will you push two at once.

Missed having the chatpad from the XB360 so had to get one for the XBONE. So very easy to use, just plug it into the controller and start typing away. Just be sure it works alright with your charging setup cause there are charging bases that the controller sits on right side up.

I had it on my XBOX 360 and needed it for the XBOX One. Speeds up the typing speed and love that I can plug in my own headphones into the bottom jack.

They keys are better than the xbox 360 version and has the same set up with the headset jack. The volume controller up on the cable which I prefer.
