I own one for the 360 as well and for the 360 it's incredible. all the same and more is with the Xbox one version only this time, the Xbox glass app exist. and I can type using my phone. so if you didn't know that, now you do and it might make you reconsider, but it is nice to have it all at your finger tips. just know, if you don't have one., you can always use your phone and the Xbox one glass app

Great for typing when you don’t want to use the digital pad, which gets severely annoying. Also has a couple quick action buttons and chat volume controls. Connects up to controller and fits flush. I keep mine in full time and it does not interfere with my gameplay at all. Leave it on it doesn’t look bad at all.

Great addition to the xbox one controller. Easier to chat while playing without scrolling using the controller.

My daughter didn't like having to keep hitting a button until the next letter she wanted for her message so wanted this for Christmas. Now my son would like one!

I'm glad I picked this up. I got tired of scrolling through the letters. It's really convenient and the headset is a plus.

The chat pad works great with Xbox one controllers. I will require a update to use it with elite controller.

Love it so much better than having to use the key pad to have to type info. So much more faster and easier.

Put this on one of my 2 controllers, it's great for when you need it. I don't use it too much actually in game though.

Fits fine on the controller, I don't feel in any issue while playing games with the chatpad attached on the controller.

I watch a lot of Youtube and Netflix on my Xbox One. This keyboard allows me to type very quickly when needed. The buttons function as they should, and they provide a nice click when pressed. The only cons would be that the battery dies a lot faster, and it hurts one of my friend's hands when uses it, but my small hands are not bothered by it at all.

Why make it hard when it can be so easy yo stay connected with this great controller addon for your Xbox controller.

I've always felt as though a qwerty keyboard of some sort of a necessity in modern console gaming. This product takes it a nice step further. I enjoy the extra controls you get with this accessory, and it leaves the controller just as comfortable as they come. No added awkwardness like the 360 pads had.

Works just like any other chat pad. Just upgraded because my son got a xbox one for Christmas. No problems so far.

The mute button is always nice, as is the keyboard and the quick keys for two functions of your choosing (such as capturing a replay or a screen shot). I had one that broke (don't worry, it's sturdy, the person who broke it did it intentionally) Nd I'd buy it a 3rd time If I had to

Works really well although hard to wiggle in! Also can mute from the keyboard which is really cool

I got this for Neverwinter MMO on XBox Live which has considerably high amounts of typing. After a few weeks of using the stick to choose each letter, a QWERTY keyboard was necessary. This was a happy medium between a handheld keyboard and a full size one. I also like the feature that it backlights while you type. The fact that it comes with a headset is handy.

If you have an older controller this new one may not fit easily - ruined my controller trying to get it to fit.

For anyone who has to input codes from upgrades, logins or just game add-one, this is invaluable. Just get it! Note it does change the pad grip options. My teen does not like that. It doesn’t bother me. Buy an extra controller and add this to it to overcome that issue.
