Just wish it secured onto the controller better. It's a bit sketchy. I'd be worried if I dropped it the connector would snap off.

I used the chat pad on the 360 and loved it. I didn't get this one because I have smart glass at first. I was wrong. It is so much easier to get screen shots and clips without missing the action. Typing in xbox codes and writing supportive messages to other gamers is easier!

I loved the chat pad for the Xbox 360. So when I got my Xbox one the controller just felt a little off. Now it feels like a Xbox controller to me. Makes searching on Netflix or Amazon video much easier. Also great for entering names in RPG's

I like the fact that this chat pad is illuminated. It makes typing on the Xbox One way easier!

As much as I loved the 360 version of this chat pad, and ended up buying one for every controller, this version is a couple of steps back. First it just doesn't lock onto the controller as snuggly as the previous did. Granted, there are no screw holes in this controller for the pad to "grip" into. However it doesn't even mold as smoothly to the controller. The sharp angles at the bottom around the grip are constantly irritating my fingers as they wrap down over. Even on the top, it's raised far above the controller and has sharp edges/angles that distract from the sexy smooth feel of the previous model. It does its job, for the most part, however I find it slow to picking up initially on some screens when typing.. Often having to press a button twice to get it to initially begin working. Otherwise it works well and Is better than having to use the onscreen keyboard all of the time.

Husband loves it and says he would recommend it to anyone that types on their game systems

I love this. It is better than moving my cursor around on the TV screen. It is comfortable keeping it in the controller and am absolutely thrilled that I bought this.

Good features and makes it much easier to text friends or input codes, internet addresses, searches, etc. The customizable keys are nice as well to use however you want. For example I use them for screen shots and video captures instead of the Kinect voice commands.

The chatpad works very well. Less bulky then a wireless USB keyboard and always close. I use with Eneloops

Love it !!!!!This is simple and lighter than. It has little added weight to the overall controller and doesn't affect balance or get in the way. The keys feel great and are extremely responsive.

My son loves this extra device for his controller and couldn't be happier.

Before use, update controller and keyboard, then restart console to finish fixing any bugs. Had issues typing and using directional pad, until I restarted console. Otherwise, is nice to type away instead of highlighting each letter with controller

A must if you reply by text, or even need to redeem a code. The keypad lights up, so you can see what you're typing in the dark. Only downside is having to download a update for your controller to recognize it, but it's a small file anyways.

I got tired of trying to enter passwords and searches with the game pad, with this keyboard is way easier. My boy who is the real player complains that it gets on his way when playing but it is easy to get rid of it and put it back on when you need it.

I love using this chatpad with Rocket League, so I can type "GG EZ" to the people I am playing against. It's pretty funny, and works well. I'm just saying that it is helpful for entering codes and passwords, as well as typing messages to friends.

I love this little keyboard attachment. It works perfectly for typing when searching for something, or chatting with someone online (although I don't do that very often). WAY easier than pointing the cursor to letters one by one :)
