This keyboard works as advertised. The only downside is that I have a rechargeable battery for my remote that sits on a cradle to recharge and I have to remove the keyboard (which is pretty snugly fitted on) each time I want to charge it. Would still purchase despite that inconvenience, however.

Anyone who uses an game console would know how difficult it can be at times to enter codes and messages. Adding this chat pad makes it a world of difference! A must have! It fits perfectly with the XB1 controller and allows you to type text with ease!

I play alot of gears of war 4. This chat pad comes in handy during matches especially when others don't have mics, You can just text and everyone sees it on the bottom right corner. Lots of fun and easy to use. Teamwork made easy.

It's good, not great. It comes out of the slot way too easily. The headset adapter has a more snug fit to it.

Necessary addition to any true gamers collection. Makes it a ton easier whenever you are adding any code in for dlc, additional funds, or sending a quick taunt to a friend, it's much quicker then typing it in letter by letter with the tomb stick.

We needed another one of these for the 2nd XB1 and it still works perfectly. We haven't checked yet to see if it's compatible with our XB Series X but will update if possible.

This little keyboard is backlit! Fits perfectly and works great as it should being a genuine Microsoft product. Make sure to update your controller after plugging in the keyboard for the first time.

It drains the battery on the controller quick but it is certainly useful.

I like it, it is way easier for me than using the left and right keys/bumpers/stick to enter letters. My kids rather use the controller without the chatpad, they are used to the controller buttons and stick.

I didn't even realize that this comes with a headset initially. Both items are great. So much easier to chat/type to friends and family when playing. You can control the volume maximum for the headset through settings in xbox.

upgraded my xbox one and had to upgrade my chatpad. looks good, works good.

This cuts down on my texting using the normal control by a lot!

This is a must have for anyone who tires of using the controller to type.

I purchased this for my nephew as a gift. He was always trying to type letter by letter with the remote and this gives him access to type quickly with his hands! Would recommend for anyone, but note it is better for little fingers.

I have two gamepads and miraculously, this keyboard refused to insert itself into one and just slid into the other. I read many reviews and it looks like you have a worse than 50% chance that it fits with your gamepad. Now, I give it 4 stars because once it's in, it really works well.

I have been waiting for Microsoft to release a chatpad since they introduced the XBox One and it's finally here. It makes it more convenient to respond to messages and enter usernames passwords than scrolling to each character one by one.

Good to have so don't need use controller to move those letter to text.

Works great. Great for a xbox user who wants to type at a faster speed.
