This makes typing messages on Xbox so much easier and doesn't interfere with game play and hand positioning. Headphone jack allows you to use the headset that comes with the keyboard or use your own headphones/earbuds.

Once you have one of these on your controller, you'll never want to go back. It not only makes messaging easier, but typing in pins, codes, and overall navigation is easier with this on. I recommend these to everyone.

I was a huge fan of the chat pad for the Xbox 360 controller, and the Xbox One version is even better. It combines the chat pad and stereo headset adapter into one piece, and includes a headset like the old Xbox 360 style.

This thing is sweet, there's nothing like having a keyboard for your xbox, there's always something to type. Always get the original, never get a knock off brand, xbox original accessories are so much higher quality.

We purchased the keypad for my son for Christmas because he was always complaining that he had to keep scrolling for the letters when he was texting fellow gamers. He loves that it's right there at his fingertips.

Almost a must have for anyone who does any kind of typing on the xbox one. This chatpad is full featured qwerty keyboard. Also has a headphone jack on the bottom, so you can plug your headphones in to it as well.

I don't know why I waited so long to get this, it makes posting to LFG or messaging people so much faster and easier. It is a little bulky, but I have large hands and it has not gotten in the way yet.

Its great for typing passwords and sending quick messages to your friends. It has a high price but it works great no problems so far and I've used it for a while now. It also adds some nice weight to the controller.

I finally spent the money on the controller keyboard. I wish I would have done it sooner..... the kids don't care for it much. but any time you have to put a password in or text/chat its a life saver.... keyboard has some hot/short cuts that can be very handy......

It's very simple and extremely useful. Just plug it in click update and within 4 minutes of opening the box you're using your new keyboard. So much better than scrolling through letters on an onscreen keyboard.

I’m surprised by how much I use this thing. I don’t like playing with it but it’s easy to use and play with the controller at the same time. I like it for youtube and Spotify searching

I used it on Xbox 360 love it there so it only made sense when I upgraded to the Xbox One I got a new one for my one controller. It is super useful making typing info or texting your friends online much easier

The chatpad is very convenient. I bought it so I could type in VR easier while using the Oculus Rift. If you've ever used a cell phone with actual buttons then the chatpad is very easy to navigate without looking.

This is much much better than typing one character at a time on the screen. A must have for multiplayer gamers. 4 stars only because it's a little tricky to clip onto the controller.

Once you plug this in to your controller it serves it's purpose, however plugging it in is the problem. It doesn't slide right in like other accessories you have to wiggle it and wiggle it and wiggle it until it snaps in. Unfortunately I need to type in certain applications so I still need this otherwise I would return it.

How did I ever make it without this thing! It's awesome and makes searching for specific things on youtube and other sites so much easier! Way easier to communicate with friends. Great piece of equipment!

Very helpful. It's not too big that would feel unconfortable and it makes typing a lot easier and faster. I don't even disconect from the controller if I'm not using, because it doesn't bother me at all.
