I extensively reviewed the Chatpad before purchasing. I had one for my XBox 360 that was great and wanted the same quality. I saw 2 issues reported repeatedly: 1. It is hard to connect to the controller and 2. You and your online teammates can hear the static from your headset. I can say that I had almost no issue connecting the Chatpad. It just takes a few seconds to lineup the connections. As far as the headset, the static is unbearable. Fortunately, the Chatpad provides a standard headset jack, so I plugged in the headset that came with my phone. I hear virtually no static. So, there is a generally cheap fix.

Typing is so much easier with this thing. Don't have to constantly go through the much longer process of entering characters with the D pad or twin sticks. So far so good!

I bought this because I was tired of entering text 1 letter at a time with my controller. Super cheap and easy way to enter text.

I purchased this as a gift for my son and he absolutely loves it! Works great and makes entering codes, passwords and messaging very easy.

Have to have this if you play online makes communicating with your opponent so much easier

no problems. actually bought a new one through another online retailer and it was DOA. This one worked with no problems.

I don't regret buying the chat keyboard. Instead of moving the controller sticks, all I have to do is press a few buttons and I'm done.

This is great. Don't have to have an external keyboard, and now we can plug our earphones in and control the game volume to boot!

WOrks great. Annoying that i had to download software to use it, but once that is done, everything else works fast and smooth.

This item is awesome. It snaps onto the controller allowing you to type with your thumbs.

The keypad is much more convenient than using the joystick. makes the controller look bulky but its a keypad, what does one expect?

Chatting with the chat pad on hand makes life a whole lot easier. Browsing internet and searching is a whole lot easier as well.

Finally got this after the torture that is entering passwords and typing with the controller. The keyboard makes it soon much easier!

micro keyboard for xb controller works great, pleased with the use of it, need good eye sight or trifocals to use it. creates a echo with my headset that was fixed using a diff setup on the Logitech 930

Bought this thinking it only comes with the chat pad. Also came with a headset. Got it for my sons birthday so he could talk to his friends. He loves it.
