Chatpad is wonderful, now I can send or answer messages in a few seconds and get right back to my gaming. Strongly recommend it

I bought this as a package deal with the keypad and audio headset. The keypad works great for messaging, password entry, etc. I was a bit underwhelmed, however, at the quality of sound and overall mechanics of the headset component. The plug seems poor-fitting and any movement causes the male (headset) end of the wire to rotate in the jack on the keypad and creates a loud static-y noise that transfers into the game through the mic as well the earpiece. I might have just got a bad one, but it seems like any movement also registers as a noise through the mic. For the money though it's a pretty good bargain.

The chat pad isn't a bad idea at all was very helpful firing off quick messages. The only problem I had was the headset i use wasn't compatible with the chatpad.

Using this keyboard is so much easier than trying to type in the codes from the cards using the up down arrows and the controller pad

The person this was purchased for is a gamer and loved it; said it would save time commenting while playing.

It is good keyboard - saves time to log in, but sometimes disturbs while playing and getting of from controller while playing.

This is great for signing in, searching for tv shows, anything really. I find it so much easier than using the controller.

Got this for the kids. They like it and it saves me a little time by typing instead of having to scroll around the letters. Works fine - just don't use a whole lot.

When I bought this chat pad I thought that it could be bigger than usual but I was wrong. It fixes perfectly

I only had one so i did not had any comparisons but this is every handy to use to type stuff up in xbox one.

I got this about 3 weeks ago and I am glad I did you can do so much with it and I got use to it real quick, and it's easy to use.

Better than 360 chatpad. Awesome if you do a lot of texting. Wish it had more than 2 programmable buttons. Adds some weight to controller but you get used to it.

Allows me to use a QWERTY pad instead of trying to toggle thru the keyboard on the screen which takes time and gets aggravating.

After using so many different wireless keyboard for typing for xbox one, This is by far the best thing. Must have item to make your life easier for typing in words.

This does its job. It makes my life easier. I can type whatever I want and really fast. It is so easy to message with this!

Whoever invented this deserves an award. Love it. Very useful and fits perfectly within the remote control.

Chatpad very handy for entering codes, text. Makes using the Edge browser much easier and more worthwhile. Recommended for any text entry use on the Xbox One.

Not sure why Microsoft did not release this when the Xbox One came out but that is history and the chatpad is here. This product fits to the controller well and does not obstruct the gaming performance. Its well built and is a must for any kind of text entries. There are 3rd party chatpads for the Xbox One available and I have used them but they feel cheap, look cheap, and lead you right back to the Microsoft Product. Do yourself a favor and save some money buy spending a little extra on this chatpad.

This Chatpad is a great addition to the Xbox controller. Even more useful than I thought it was going to be. Speeds up input!
