This thing is awesome for typing things quickly when you need to enter text. It also works with my headphones so I can plug into the mic jack and listen to game audio and player chat. A must if you own an xbox. Had a bit of trouble getting it to plug in though even with the xbox instructions.

This little guy will take or allow you to hook up your old or new headphones and makes it sound better. I've seen improvement in all headphones I've used with this awesome accessory.

I was happy to see that Microsoft released a chat pad for the Xbox one. I had been dealing with a third party unit and it was not the best fit. This one attaches and does not get in the way. The included headset isn't bad either.

This is perfect for using if you need to enter codes or whatever, but unplug after use. it will drain the battery quicker than you think, had fresh batteries in mine, and made it through a day of play and that was it.

You should totally get this product if you have an XBOX One. It will make things so much easier. It does have a backlit function, which is great for gaming in the dark, which so many of us do.

The headphone jack in this thing suxxorz, and it feels cheap. The 360 chapters was a beast and felt like it was made of higher quality plastic. The headphone jack is cheaply made and prone to shorting out.

the keyboard is really good to have so you don't have to flip letter to letter so much instead you can type fairly quickly with it bu the part that I dislike is its hard to connect it to the controller

Now, I gave the product 5 stars, because the product itself is a great product. I did, however, call it totally worthless, because I almost never get to use it. It makes your controller look totally cool, though!

The chatpad is great for use in navigating apps such as Netflix etc. Only drawback is with gaming. If you use a premium headset such as Astro, you can't have both hooked up at the same time due to incompatible ports. Other than that, great purchase!

Had it for 2 years now even spilled some soda on it blew it out and still working great love the fact that if you had a old Xbox controller you can plug in a 3.5 mm device to it.

I feel this was a great investment saving me loads of time when I have to input passwords into my Microsoft account via the Xbox One X. Definitely a must-have Xbox accessory.

All that I needed for write while I use my xbox one. For my was so annoying and slow write without the chat pad, so if you have the same problem, you definitely need it and the price was ok I guess

The device itself works great, but take a good look at the layout before you purchase. It's not like your phone or anything else you've probably used, it's a tiny bit cramped and definitely takes some getting used to.

What can I say, this keyboard fits perfectly and has all the buttons you could want. A nice surprise is that the buttons are backlit but only during use to help save battery I'm assuming.

I purchased this as an open box and was a little bit nervous about that. However, the item is in brand-new condition, and it works exactly as it should. Very glad I made this purchase.

I have had the Xbox chat pad before but this one adds some new functionality. You have the programmable keys you can set to different actions, such as record or take a screenshot.

My son plays Minecraft, and occasionally needs to enter text into the game. Also good for the general "every now and then" need to enter text. Haven't used it for chatting, per se.

This is great when ur messaging or typing but I don’t like playing with it attached bcuz the controller is heavier otherwise it’s nice to have.
