My controller bugged out and my headset wasn’t working unless I plugged in a headset adapter. Bought this since it came with a spare headset and it’s work fabulously.

Awesome accessory. It's a must have if you play any games that require typing. Doesn't add much weight to the controller, and makes the older controller capable of using any headset.

i love having this key pad and wouldn't have an Xbox with out it its a must have works well with all the apps and wed browser and makes sending messages on the go ultra fast

Product is good for what it’s used for. The one I bought is kinda loose so I wedged a paper towel corner into the side to make it fit. No problem at all

Love it with my Xbox One controller but it does not fit with my Xbox One S controller. Make sure with Xbox One only and not S!

The buttons return a distinct click, good pressure. Smart layout, as well as a headphone port and controls. For he money, and for the need I had, this solved it perfectly. 5*

Even with use of cell phone keypads, this is hard to use with larger hands. Compared to generic there are less double keys/missed keys. Occasionally with have connection issues with plug for gaming headset.

I had been hesitating to pick this up due to the cost and wondering if it was worth it. If you are in the same boat just pull the trigger like I did and you won't regret it.

I get tired of the hunting around the screen to type this works great and it has a 3.5mm jack for you to plug in your headset without the need of the headset adapter!!!!!

This thing is great and fits the controller like a glove. It's backlit and can be used to type search instead of selecting on letter at a time with the joystick. Would recommend this to Xbox users of all sorts.

Upon purchasing this chatpad I found it quit reliable and convenient to communicate, would highly recommend it if your looking to save money while getting a good product.

This purchase was a gift for my 15 year old daughter. She was able to set it up with our Xbox One, by herself, with no difficulty. It works perfectly.

MS Chatpad/Headset Combo is an awesome deal, headset is $20 alone, and is a must for online play, pay the little extra and get this combo for $10 more

Maybe it's me, I am not a frequent texter... but this device is very small and cumbersome. Not something for someone with larger hands/fingers, or dexterity issues.

Chatpad made by Microsoft. Just like the 360 version. It feels a little lighter. The backlight isn't uniform on the keyboard but serves its purpose.

Bought to make text entry easier then using the on screen system. Nice bonus was the headset which came with it. This was not included with my new xbox one s.

I bought this for my son thinking it was a good idea for quick logging in and talking with others. He likes it, just says he has to unplug his headset to plug it in. You can't use both at the same time.

I purchased this chatpad and noticed that the special keys weren't typing the image which appeared on the keys. The only time it seemed to work is when I went inyo my Xbox One Settings>Time and Location>Changed my Keyboard Language to Español/Mexico. But doing that prevented me from getting English typing suggestions. After doing a lot of troubleshooting and research, I was informed that the chatpads are country coded by Serial number. There is supposed to be one of the following letters at the end of the serial number which corresponds to the count which it is coded for: B,G, E. E would correspond to English/US (which I need). But the serial number in the one I purchased had no letters, only numbers. Hence, the reason its not working properly for me. Now, I have to go return this chatpad and try to exchange it for one with an E at the end of its serial number. So frustrating that MSFT couldn't just make these things work without this stupid restriction.

Build quality is as expected from Microsoft. Buttons have a slight tacky feel and have and have an audible click when a button is pressed. Only downside is no support for Win 10, yet...

This is a great addition to the Xbox one controller. The only gripe I have is that it doesn't feel completely connected. Otherwise it works for what I need.
