Useful and does not impact the feel of the controller. Never remove it because it is impossible to reattach.

Doesn't work! Not sure why, I set it up perfectly and even updated my controller to specs.

The chat pad does not fit the Xbox One S controller, and gave no mention of that on the packaging.

This product stopped working after 6 months. I do not recommend this product.

This doubles as a Stereo Adapter that usually costs $25 on it's on, but also comes with a basic chat headset. It fits the controller very well and doesn't hinder gameplay at all. Makes it very easy to send messages over Xbox Live and redeeming product codes! Definitely buy if you had the 360 chatpad!

The Xbox One chatpad is an excellent addition to any Xbox One owner's collection. It allows you to easily type in download codes or text messages without having to move the control stick repeatedly for simple sentences.

this is a must if you redeem codes or want to search online on the xbox one I highly recommend it it makes typing so much easier and the controller is balanced with this attached

ive used other chatpads and didnt like them. they felt cheap and worst of all they had to use the usb chip. this one, you just plug in update and use. its that simple.

The chat pad is a must have. Being able to type is great, but being able to control volume without having to pull up settings is much needed.

This is a great chatpad. The keyboard makes searching and chatting a breeze. It is definitely faster than using the joystick to pick each letter.

I was skeptical about this thing, and while you definitely don't need it, it's definitely helpful, especially when entering those annoying activation codes. No more moving the cursor around the screen to find letters on the keyboard... no I just type them in! Probably leaches on the battery life of the controller though.

This is great to use when you're texting with friends on-line when one or both of you don't have headsets or mics. Soooo much faster than scrolling. It's a bit cumbersome but doesn't really get in the way once you get used to it. You can always remove it if it does which is nice.

Bought this specifically for rocket league to trash talk. It works perfect and comes with a headset. I also like having the 2 buttons on the pad that you can program to do certain things (I have mine for pulling up my party I'm in and the other for recording the last 30 second show of gameplay so I don't have to hit the xbox button).

This is a must have. Back lit keys make it easy to type at night. No more wasted time navigating the screen to type anything out. Completely happy with this purchase.

I used to look at these and think they would just get in the way of using the controller. I barely notice it is there and it is great for surfing the web, searching for things in the store. This has FAR exceeded my expectations and it was on sale!

This keyboard is a life saver when it comes to typing in or searching for things. As you can tell I only use the xbox for things like netflix or pandora. And since we don't have an kinnect this is a amazing.

Instead of using the controller sticks to move around and choosing each letter, all I have to do now is plug in the chat keyboard and just type like a regular keyboard.
