This was better than expected. Actually did a few things that surprised me. If you are hesitant don't be! This is well worth the money!

As an easy way to navigate, search, and use as a utility, the Kinect works great. Limited game support, but the games are generally family fun.

I don't use the Xbox 1 myself, except to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. My husband and kids seem to like it a lot though. I am particularly pleased with the ability to turn off the Xbox with voice commands. Comes in quite handy when the kids won't turn off a game for homework or dinner. :) However, I don't like that it seems to require a rather loud voice to respond to voice commands. I'd prefer to not hear so much yelling of commands.

The Xbox one wouldn't be all it can be without the Kinect sensor. It's great for use with voice commands and the games with Kinect capability.

This purchase was not with some hesitation. It has turned out to be a good purchase. Needs more apps, and games to get its total potential.

Easy plug and play, with simple setup instructions. Great for gaming and video chatting with family across the country.

I love that I can walk in the room and turn on the Xbox and change channels on my tv with voice commands. Sometimes I must repeat myself however.

The xbox one doesn't really have many games that work in conjunction with the kinect, so really the only use is voice commands to pause netflix.

A must have if you own an XBox One. Makes playing games easier as well as maneuvering through different features with the voice command. I'm able to go straight to the enternet, pull up Netflix, Hulu or any website that I would like go to. I would highly recommend getting the Kinect for you XBox One. It make playing the games a lot easier.

Talk and give commands to your TV while sitting on your couch. Takes some getting use to for it to undersrand what you are aaking it to do.

Get product haven't had any problems with it. Makes the xbox run a little easier just having to talk to it. Sounds weird saying that...

In my opinion the Xbox One is not complete unless you have the Kinect. It may be a little gimmicky - but it's fun to have options.

We already had an XB1 kinect in the house when I bought the day one version of the XB1. I decided to buy another because we bought a second XB1 for my son. I love how I can just say "XBOX ON/OFF" and my whole entertainment center turns on or off. I like using the commands more than I did with the old Kinect for the 360. The camera part is really cook for video chatting or using twitch...The only down side is that there are a limited amount of games for the new kinect....Oh well, guess the ones that are out now will have to do.

this kinect is owesome , i can active with my voice the console, and other orders , talk with friend online same time play games

Great product.. I love it !! Makes playing certain things easier to play. I love the voice part where you can talk to your xbox.

I've had zero issues with the Kinect. Easy setup. Cool voice command features now. But I keep unhooked from the xbox unless using.

A little pricey to add to Xbox One after the fact given that most features you can do with a controller. Works as you'd expect.

I bought this for my nieces for Christmas. They used it that day and each day since. It is great to help kids get up and move.
