I would recommend it for people who wants to get off their couch and be involved in more physically demanding game. Good for your health

This thing refuses to listen to me. It's like having another kid. If you're really into being ignored and disobeyed constantly, buy this.

very responsive and sensitive...wish voice commands were better though...don't work well if tv sound is loud or show has background noise

My one son has this XBox One Kinect and loved it so much that my other son put this on his Christmas list as the #1 gift to get!

Great device, but currently underutilized/underdeveloped on the XBox One. Loads of potential! Works as advertised and is very accurate.

I knew I was going to buy this the second I unboxed my Xbox One. The Xbox One used to come with this standard, but now only is in one of the packages. I don't use it that much for the games (the list of good Kinect games on Xbox one is very limited) but I use it for the auto-login and voice commands daily. If I'm close enough and the lighting is good enough, the Xbox will recognize me right away and and autologin. Otherwise, I just have to ask to be logged in vocally. Back when you'd say, "Xbox" to launch a verbal command, it was pretty effective. Since the update where you now have to say, "Hey, Cortana" it's buggy, does Bing searches when it misunderstands my commands and often snaps onto the screen when I don't want that. That's more of an issue with Xbox software, and not totally the fault of the Kinect, but its a real factor in deciding to get this. Overall, it should cost less and/or be included with your Xbox, but it's worth it for games where you like to dance or move, and great for allowing vocal control. I use my Xbox as a multimedia device (replaced my Roku). It's nice to tell my Xbox to pause the video or launch an app without grabbing for the remote.

It only listens to certain phrases like "Xbox on" not Xbox turn on or Xbox power on wish I could make it set to one of my choosing

The video addition to Xbox is awesome from auto logging in to the system to playing kinetic games like fruit ninja with the kids.

Great product and i love the kinect games and this one have a free dance central game. I am so amazed of this very cool product.

Ok being able to turn on and use it to control the Xbox one is awesome.... but the price of $149 is not needs to be about half

Very pleased, was going to buy at retail price, however saved money with open box.

I'd give the Kinect a full 5 stars but it is a little heavy on the setup and picky on lighting. The game interaction is top notch.

I like the product, but it's not exact. I like playing golf on the Xbox, but the kinnect does not necessarily track my swim very well.

This is a great add to the Xbox one! It took this old dog a little while to get used to it but I like the user interface!

Movement detection is excellent. Great for adults applications and great for kids games. Dance game was included, a plus.

Gaming geeks should have Kinect with XBox and feel it. Virtual reality at its best; you will start loving outdoor sports.

Not necessary to play on the xbox. But, it's a nice addition to the xbox and allows for some extra features with the games.

Bought for son who wanted to play a karate game. Works great with Xbox One, better than the Kinnect that came with the Xbox 360.
