Bit the bullet and purchased this since my kids like to dance, but was bummed a little since my kinect didn't come with the Dance central code(I didn't feel like packing it back up and driving back to the store.) Also like that I can skype with people on my t.v. without powering up my laptop and using the small screen.

My kid loves the console and the titles with it. Fun

You got me on this thing. Have not seen it do anything yet. Oh wait, the camera shows me looking at the TV. WHoopie DOoo. Got it way on sale and am hoping it makes it's use known sometime soon. Will recommend only because it's part of the Xbox1 system.

There's not much I use it for. The only thing I really use it for is to login.

Kinect doesn't always function 100% of the time but when it does it is amazing

Had to reset settings several times but that's Xbox not the actual camera ...

Purchased an open box item, but the original shipment was missing the Dance Spotlight token. A replacement was shipped which had the token, but failed to turn on. Returned the failing Kinect at a local store, and it took over 2 hours for the associates to figure out how to make the return.

I already owned this Kinect. I purchased another Kinect and the new One S Xbox for my bedroom. It's nice because I'm a shift worker and having the system in my bedroom I can exercise anytime and not be disruptive to the family. I love the Kinect; it's a good work out and tons of fun!

I wanted the capability to exercise and the Kinect was the perfect addition to my Xbox One to meet requirements. Improved sensing capability over the previous Kinect captured my movement like I was embedded in the gaming program. It's a must have addition if you have an Xbox.

I had the Kinect for the Xbox 360 so I wanted it again for the Xbox One. Kids enjoy using it for Dance Central and their other games. I like it bcuz of the hands free features it offers as well as controlling my TV and Xbox with the media remote. Definitely a must have.

It will not work with the windows 10 I have on my computer. Microsoft has not been able to get it to work with the software they have for it. ( KinectSDK-v2.0_1409-Setup ) A tech has worked on my compute for 2 hr. one day last week.

this little gadget makes the games awesome. We love just moving and not having to hold the controller. This is wonderful for the elderly at the nursing home I take it in during activities and Mom and the rest of the residents love it! If you have a Xbox this is a must!

I dont really play xbox, but i know my kids would recommend it

I bought this to be lazy. Turn my Xbox on and off, select what I want to do, but it hardly works. The sound does not pick up as well as it should. I have tried to adjust the mic through settings, but it's still bad. I have to almost yell to be heard. Then 360 model worked far better.
