i got this because my family hated using the controler .they love this because it is easy to use for when we are watching blueray and dvd.i also like that it light up when you touch it make it easy to read the buttons

This is an excellent accessory for the Xbox one. Makes flipping through all your favorites apps, movies, etc so easy at the touch of your fingertips. Great price too!

The remote works perfectly. The ability to raise/lower the volume and change the channel is a plus. The backlighting really helps and is not overpowering. The material used to make this remote is very premium and very nice.

This remote is simple handy for the normal everyday use. Instead of turning on a controller and waiting for connection, you can grab the remote and it will light up, very easy to see when dark out. Highly recommended.

It's an awesome litt k e remote it has a soft feel to it as well as works perfectly. I like that the back lighting turns off till you move the controller so you can see the buttons. Very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a great little add for your Xbox one. The materials they used to make this remote and shape of it make it very comfortable to use. Small size and very convenient alternative to the game controller. Highly recommend.

Does everything I need it too. And it has a cool silk/felty like feel to it. It is rounded on the back to fit your hand not a flat surface. It lights up when you move it. Definitely reccomend it.

There are many options for remotes for the xbox but I chose this one because I have a too many remotes cluttering my living room as it is and I didn't want a huge clunky remote if I had to have another one. It is sleek and lightweight, it lights up when you pick it up so you can see the buttons in low light. It is so much easier to have this than using my xbox controllers. I don't have to scramble to turn on my controller to pause anymore while watching a show or movie.

Really hate trying to control all of my movies through either an app or the controller. Definitely makes it easier to just have the remote handy. This is my second one as my dog decided to destroy the other one.

This little thing is amazing!!! First of all the controller turns on when ever it is picked up and when it is paired with the tv and Xbox can turn on and control both devices. This was the best purchase I have made.

I got this to watch Netflix and movies. It works great. I really like how it turns on via a motion sensor. It helps conserve the battery, and it's always ready to use. All you have to do is pick it up and go.

Purchased this to use with the Kinect to change OTA Channels running thru the Mediasonic HW150-PVR. Solid feeling, controls are easy to remember like most remotes the more you use it the more common the feel is.

Switched to Hulu with Live TV recently so I got this remote to make things easier for that and other streaming services using my Xbox One. Love the feel and simple buttons. Now I don't have to have my Xbox controller out on the coffee table all of the time. Only two downsides are that it doesn't have the face buttons (A, B, X, Y), so can be confusing when you receive button prompts, and also that it needs direct line of sight with the console. But there are workaround for that. Overall a great purchase.

I bought this remote for the Xbox One because I watch TV and stream movies from my network to my Xbox One and got tired of using the controller to navigate. The controller is just too bulky to keep in your hand all the time. The only thing I do not like about this remote is that the bottom is curved. It's a pet peeve with me. All remotes should lay flat so I can walk by and hit buttons on them while they sit on my table. Other then that this is a great remote. I love the fact that all the buttons light up too :)

Definitely a must have if you use your xbox for music and other related stuff and want to do away with the controller which also gets turned off (after a while of not being used). This is where the remote comes in handy. Is active the moment you lift it. Play/pause/next is a breeze. If you have a passkey setup, you can use the remote as well to unlock the xbox. Needs to be in direct line of sight and it uses IR. No biggie. Worth buying!!!

I use my Xbox One S as a game console and as a media center. The TV cable box connects to the Xbox and the Xbox to the TV. The Xbox One Media remote is great to watch TV, Netflix, Amazon, etc. from the couch instead of using the Xbox One game controller. I also like the fact that the remote is backlit but it only turns on when moved. Nice when the room is dark watching a movie and you need to see the buttons. My wife and I are really enjoying this remote.

Love this remote! It's made of a unique material that feels good in your hand. It's always nice to be able to control your tv and Xbox with just one remote which this can accomplish. Very satisfied.

Before this remote I would have to continually turn the XBOX controller on to fast forward or pause what I was watching. Very inconvenient. Works like any remote would. Very handy!

This remote feels and works great. It's perfect for watching shows and movies if you don't want to have to deal with the controller. It's much easier and faster when trying to play/pause or rewind/skip.

Having a $10 gift certificate, I thought I could do worse than use it to lower the price of the Xbox One remote. It's neat enough, and it definitely makes movie and Netflix watching easier, but I wouldn't realistically pay $25 for it. $15 with my gift certificate was more reasonable, but it shouldn't be more than $15 as it is. It's a neat remote, it even activates when you pick it up (or really just when its touched or moved at all), but it's not worth paying full price unless full price is $15 or lower. It can't work for your tv, it only controls the Xbox, and it's really just not worth $25. Again, it's a neat little remote, but it's not worth that price.
