Picked this up to use with Xbox One - family didn't want to be using the default controllers with the console to turn on the TV and control it as such. The xbox one media remote works exactly as described.

This remote is exactly what I needed so that I wasn't constantly having to grab my controller to fast forward and rewind netflix. Plus the light up functionality when you pick it up was quite a surprise.

My Xbox One is the primary DVD player for the household. Which means my roommates use it to watch movies. Rather than having them use the controller (they are novice users of the Xbox), I bought this remote. It is simple to use and has all the buttons they need for just watching a movie. It was a good solution to the problem. I use it too and find it easier and quicker to use than the controller sometimes. I like the fact that the back light activates when you move the remote.

This is great if you are using your X-box for things other than gaming. It's nice to have a more traditional remote control to navigate games and apps and use things like netflix or the DVD player.

This is a very simple little remote which has all the features I need to use my Xbox as a media center! Much easier than using the controller and I love the light up feature when it is moved!

Love this remote. I hated using the console game remote to try to navigate for TV or Netflix. With this even the grandparents can work the TV again. Easy set up and self explaining directions.

The little control is a much needed addition to the XB1. Makes navigating so much easier than trying to use a gaming control all the time.

Nice little remote. Very sleek and works great. Best feature is that it senses your hand and will light up when you get close to it. Very useful if your watching a movie during the late night.

I love this remote! It feels very expensive. Only downside? Needs line of sight to the Xbox console (not the kinect) for this to work. Even though the kinect has an ir blaster and reader....

We needed something to run the blu-ray other than the remote controls since the kids think they need to play with those when they see them! This is slim and works great for movie nights!

This remote works great and cuts down on the use of the batteries on your controller, as well as using the ap on the phone. It lights up when you grab it, which I think is a cool feature.

I am so glad I got this. When I am not playing video games, I am watching Blu-rays and Netflix on my Xbox One. The Xbox One controller is great for games, but not so for movies and Netflix, as it is not suited for one-handed use and it would turn off. The Media Remote fits in one hand, and since in works through IR, it uses power only when is used, much like your regular TV remote. Sure, you have to have line of sight with your Xbox One, but since the console is next to my TV that is not a problem. Also, this fits in the little slot on my stationary bike, which I am on when I am watching a Blu-ray or binge watching on Netflix. Overall, a great buy!

I got this to use with netflix, youtube, amazon video, etc instead of needing to fire up the controller any time I want to watch something else. Works with all apps mentioned above.

This remote is great. It's nice to have for watching movies on the Xbox. I really like how it lights up when it senses that you picked it up. Very handy for watching movies in the dark.

I was quite happy to see a remote control offering when watching movies and accessing Xbox One for entertainment other than gaming. Very easy to use, especially with the backlit buttons.

It does what it's suppose to, works great for blu ray. I didn't know it had touch sensitive back lit keys until I used it, which is a huge plus. Can't find anything bad about the remote.

This product has really improved my XBOX One experience. The Voices commands for the Kinect are awesome but you don't always feel like talking through complex menus or browsing tv channels. This remote is very small and operates most functions on the XBOX with no problems. It sure beats keeping a regular game controller on the coffee table or on the couch.

Bought this because I was tired of using my controller as a tv remote. I didn't even know these existed but I'm glad they do! So convenient and small so it's never in the way!

This remote is a must if you stream, game, or use for television. Quality built, and beats the heck out of using the game controller for everything. Batteries last forever too.....

So my wife bought me this as a Christmas gift and it is kinda neat. I could do anything I needed to do with the controller but this makes it easier for my nongameing family members to watch Netflix or Blu-Rays.
