Very convenient remote that doesn't require "connecting" to the XBox - just point and click. Makes navigating apps and watching movies a much more pleasant experience.

I love having this product. I don't have to turn my Xbox controller on to watch Netflix and HBO. Easy to navigate, and works right out of the box. Highly recommend.

purchased this remote for my xbox as I use it for hulu and netflix. SO MUCH easier than trying to use the xbox controller to surf all the content

needed a remote the guy that did not have to use the controller to go through Netflix and Amazon Prime video this works a heck of a lot easier and it's not bulky

easy to use once I figured it out as there was no instruction booklet in the packaging and I got this mainly for movie playback on the Xbox one. Nice accessory that I would recommend having.

It works just great!! Other people bad mouth it because you have to aim it at the Xbox, but that might be the only downfall, otherwise it is great work perfect!!!

Tired of having to turn on your controller so you can use the Xbox One? This will simplify your whole experience with the Xbox One. So much easier to turn on/off and navigate the system. It's backlit very nicely whenever you move it so you can clearly see the buttons. I'm hoping that Microsoft eventually allows some control in third-party apps like when watching YouTube, works fairly well in Amazon though.

Not a whole lot to say here. It's a remote, it works well, quicker to search for than the controller. Makes more sense to kids and wife when playing movies. :)

I have never seen such a remote ever. It's much more better than using any other remotes coz it's made by Microsoft. So handy, smooth and easy to function.

the remote is one of the best addition for the xbox one. it is so much easier to use the remote than the controller when watching anything on the xbox one.

This is actually the third xbone remote that ive purchased. so now i have one at each end of the couch, and one in the bedroom. i really recommend this.

works great right out of the box. no set-up required. Easier to use then the controller for non-gaming functions.

The wife absolutely loves this. She is not big into games so controllers (as dumb as it may sound) can be hassle for her. This solved that problem!

I've had one of these remotes for years and use it almost daily. If you use your Xbox for media, streaming, etc., this is a must-have product, especially for the price. It's got a nice, rubbery texture with tactile, backlit buttons, great for watching in the dark. When you sync your surround sound to your Xbox, this will adjust that as well, which is great.

PROS: This remote looks pretty, feels nice in your hand (its like... hairy smooth) and lights up when its grabbed. (Also the remote is smaller than the average remote, if you into that) CONS: It only has the most basic buttons, you cant switch audio with the press of a button nor other advance settings while the movie is playing, if you need something other than play, stop, rewind, forward, pause and the skip buttons you are going to have to go to the menu screen, or access the pop up menu that newer movies have.

Good remote but is line of site. Put Xbox one in cabinet and game remotes work fine. Have to open solid wood door to get media remote to work. Works well in line of site.

I love the slim design and it lights up when it moves. Easily navigate all menus and operate media files from across the room without a controller.

The remote does what it is supposed to do. After 45 days of owning this remote, a much better after market remote came out with keyboard on remote. I should have waited.
